I'm Sydney Jokinen-Leppert, the crooked smile behind Pickles & Oliver Digital Design Studio. I'm a curious person by nature, so one of the most rewarding parts of helping people brand their businesses and build their websites is that I get to learn about so many industries that otherwise I'd miss entirely. I now know the environmental impact difference between dry and wet blasting and if quizzed on puppets, I might be able to tell you five categories on a good day. I love getting to learn about what other people love because I've found that passionate people are the best teachers.

So what am I passionate about? Design that both you and your clients will love. I balance functionality, aestethics, and a bit of evil scientist-like experimentation. Just because you haven't seen something done before doesn't mean that it can't be done. I love to challenge myself and my clients to think outside of the box. That's where good things start.

WHAT DO YOU CHARGE FOR DESIGN SERVICES?

This one is easy! I have an outline of my process for branding and web design. Print design is usually in conjunction with one or the other, but can be done alone if you prefer. I am happy to give an estimate for your project and I always stand by my estimate, even if I end up doing more work than I thought I would. I discount costs for non-profits and small businesses built on giving back to communities.

WHAT GEOGRAPHIC REGION DO YOU SERVE?

Anywhere the tubes of the internet can reach! I can work with businesses located just about anywhere. My services are entirely remote, unless you want to meet and be graced by my supremely radiant presence and live in the Northern Virginia area. If that's the case, let's have a tea party.

HOW QUICKLY CAN YOU COMPLETE A DESIGN?

Depending on the scope of the project and how quickly you reply to emails, I can have a logo or small website done in a few days, a medium website done in a week, and a large one done in under a month. Those time estimates are assuming that you caught me while I wasn't already in the middle of two or three projects for other people and that there aren't any new episodes of The Vikings, Walking Dead, or Doctor Who available.
